My Handmade Guitar Pick

20 - 40 minutes of work. I never looked at the clock when i started or finished haha.

From my journal: The first pick i made was made of an old gift card. It was also a total and complete failure. I cut at the wrong angle and ended up making it too round. The way it was shaped didn't sound right on the guitar to me, and cutting it again to fix the shape would make it too small. Plus, i wanted it to be shaped like a real pick haha. For the second attempt, I used an old CD. In the words of GLaDOS of the Valve game, Portal, "This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: Huge Success." I'm EXTREMELY proud of how the second pick came out because its shaped SO accurately. Seeing as how I had cut it so well, i decided to go even further with my workmanship. I found a nail file and sanded away the tiny corners on the edges of the pick, then filed at an angle to make the edges dull and without corners. So now, I have my own personal, hand-made, silver guitar pick.
