and instead of wishing to have someone by your side
you wished for that one specific person
love has no minimum and no maximum
it can take years to start loving someone
or it can take minutes

love may be the one word
the one, single, amazing word that can NOT be defined in the dictionary
at least not properly
so i want you to help me define it.

We had to define "love" last year for our English Studies class, right before we began poetry. I wrote it down somewhere, but I can't find it
Something along the lines of;
"Love is a mutual agreement of compassion, dedication and (something else here) that tethers hearts, minds and bodies physically and mentally, with an unbreakable bond in which the participants for forever entangled in the ropes"

When I talk to this person I know it's a cliche to say but they amke my heart litteraly pump faster and harder yet slower.I feel like time stops and things are jsut perfect.Thogh we might get in fihgts and all we get through them. Love means doing ANYTHING you can for the other person to make them happy.
When I hear people say "if they love you they won't ever make you cry no matter what" I say thats completely false. You gotta cry atleast once bec of them right? either they did something to shock the hell out of you or they did something completely epic that you wont ever forget kinda thing.
anyway back to where I was getting me and my love talked about this whole thing. We talked about how we both felt like physically and emotionally and mentally when we are around each other or jsut talking online. My throat clogs and I get a lsot of words. I can act like me and act stupid and silly and they wont judge me.We are comfortable iwht mkaing fun of each other but not over doing it. Love means teaching each other. Always keeping them in mind. Showing you lvoe them rather then jsut saying it. Pouring your heart out. Feeling safe when they hold you when they're around you. you fight every second to get them back when you mess up becasue you know you can;t live without them. You beg for them and make yourself look like a fool but you don't care becasue you know that if your wiht them everything is gonna be ok.
Thers more I jsut can't think right now...I'm sapposed ot be doing homework...I think I wrote something aobut love in my poem book a while back...Idk wha tI wrote but I'll check it out and post more up later

the phrase "falling in love" is ridiculous because how can you fall into soemthing that's intangible? and if you fall in love does that mean you have to climb out of it?
love i ssomething wonderful, amazing, new, and never ending ... you may think that you can stop loving a person but you cant ... it's impossible ... once you love them you'll never stop ... it may not be as strong as time goes on but you still love them
love is something not meant for those who only want lust ... love must be wanted and recieved ... love can heal and the lack of love can destroy ... for love is not pain, or hurt, or anything evil for love is everything good and only the lack of love, the stealing of love, the taking away of love is pain, hurt, and everything evil ...
love is a simple four letter word that without the world would have no entertainment and our movies would be very boring ... romance novelists would be no more and the hopeless romantics (like myself) would have to find something else to live for ...
love is complicated and more than anyone can define or even compare or imagine ...
